Lynnwood Lodge was established in May 1960 by a group of business men and friends that believed in building a strong community. They believed in supporting youth programs, helping the elderly, providing for needy families and caring for our military veterans.

The members' dedication over the past forty plus years has been very strong. They are well known through their community and the State of Washington as one of the most accomplished Lodges.

We were rated the #1 Lodge in the State twice, 1996-1997 and 2001-2002.

The Elks National Foundation is an independent, non-profit foundation governed by a seven-member Board of Trustees. The Elks National Foundation was established in 1928, and its mission is to help Elks build stronger communities. We fulfill this pledge by investing in communities where Elks live and work.

We provide tomorrow's leaders, our youth, with a healthy beginning; honor the Elks' pledge to never forget our veterans; help the state Elks associations accomplish their charitable objectives; and fund projects that improve quality of life in local Elks communities. Washington State Elks Therapy Program for Children. To the children and their families ...it makes a difference

At the 1954 convention of Washington State Elks Association, a decision was made which would ultimately change the direction of the entire organization. It was determined that the Elks in Washington State should be more than a gathering point for those who belonged to the Association. The Elks should contribute to the welfare of the entire community.

Research indicated the best way the organization could achieve such an ambition. The greatest need was in the area of therapy for children with special needs. Many children could enjoy a better life if affordable, quality pediatric therapy was available.

The Washington Elks decided they could help by establishing the Washington Elks Therapy Program for Children, Inc. and its services would be offered FREE.

Pediatric therapy is provided by licensed occupational and physical therapists to those who have no other source of therapy service readily available to them.

An Elk never stands so TALL as when he reaches to help a child in need.
